Freestanding 4WD awning: Warranty information
All of our products are designed and manufactured for the Australian climate and lifestyle – so you can get out there and experience your own adventures. We’ve got you covered with quick setup, tough Australian-made materials, and easy products so you can just go!
Destination4WD will repair or replace any original Destination4WD product (freestanding 4WD awning and/or accessory) you have purchased due to a manufacturing or materials defect or fault. This includes faulty stitching, velcro, glue, zips, pins, rivets, and D-rings in regards to faulty fittings or faulty material. Your Destination4WD warranty periods include:
- Freestanding 4WD awning: 24 months from date of purchase
- Walls and wall kit: 12 months from date of purchase
- Any other Destination4WD product: 12 months from date of purchase
The warranty DOES NOT include
This Destination4WD manufacturer’s warranty ONLY covers manufacturing or materials defects. It does not include any damage caused by wear and tear and normal use of the awning, prolonged use or leaving the awning open in the elements for long periods of time, incorrect setup or packing up, sun-fading and condensation marks, car, van, boating or other accidents, falling or stationary objects that damage the structure, powder-coating and canvas, burn marks and holes, extreme weather (storms, hail, wind and rain events) or damage caused by animals or people.
Please note, we do not refund. We do not refund if you change your mind. We do not refund if you use different parts or accessories to install the awning. We do not refund if the awning doesn’t suit the vehicle or setup. Please ask us any questions before purchasing.
How to make a warranty claim
Please contact Destination4WD as soon as you notice a defect in your freestanding 4WD awning or accessory and we will contact you with your next steps. Please note, under this warranty, transportation and delivery costs of returning the faulty item for an assessment or to be repaired is at the expense of the customer. You will be required to send photographs and details before sending the product back to us.
