At Destination4WD, we respect your privacy.  We recognise the need for appropriate protection and management of any identifiable information you share with us.

This privacy policy is designed to outline:

  • What information Destination4WD may collect from you on any publicly available portions of www.destination4wd.com (hereinafter referred to as “the Site”) and any affiliate sites of Destination4WD, along with information from other interactions we have with you.
  • How Destination4WD may use the information you have provided.

What you need to know about using this Site:

1. If you don’t agree with the terms and conditions, don’t use the Site.

Please review the following Privacy Policy terms.  By using the Destination4WD Site and/or providing us with Personal Information, you agree to  the terms of the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any of the terms outlined in the Privacy Policy, please refrain from using the Site and providing us with any personal information.

This Privacy Policy applies to information we gather from the Site, and information collected by other means, including, but not limited to, sales calls, telemarketing, networking, and other business transactions.

2. We will collect information to ID you.

Personal Information means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, a home, business, or other physical address, a phone number, and an email address.

Destination4WD collects Personal Information from Site users and customers only when such information is voluntarily provided to us, including, without limitation, inquiries about our services through the “Contact Us” page on the Destination4WD website, as part of signing up for our email subscriptions, or in the process of your business transactions with us.

3. We send valuable information by email if you sign up for it.

Destination4WD also offers a variety of email subscriptions where you can get information about online marketing strategies and processes.  You can subscribe to such emails and you can manage your email preferences.  If you become a customer of Destination4WD, we will retain the right to email you regarding the Site or services we provide.

4. We will use your info to reply to your inquiries.

Destination4WD may retain and use Personal Information provided by you for several purposes, including facilitating and otherwise addressing your inquiry, request, subscriptions, or business transactions and relationship with Destination4WD. For example, we may use your Personal Information to respond to your questions or requests for information about us. We may also use Personal Information to ensure compliance with our policies and applicable laws.

5. We might share your information.

Destination4WD may use other businesses to perform services relating to the services Destination4WD provides to you (such as maintaining the Site, processing enquiries, product building and management).  We may provide Personal Information to those organisations when that information is necessary for them to complete a requested transaction or otherwise perform their duties.  Destination4WD will take all reasonable steps to ensure these third-party providers are obligated to protect Personal Information on behalf of Destination4WD.

6. We won’t sell your details.

Destination4WD will not sell or share your Personal Information with any unaffiliated third-parties for marketing purposes. In the event that Destination4WD or all of its assets are acquired, all of the data collected by Destination4WD through the Site and through other means and services provided by us would be included in the transferred assets.

Destination4WD reserves the right to disclose such information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property, other visitors, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. Destination4WDalso reserves the right to disclose such information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.

7. We will collect non-personal information … this helps us give you a better experience.

Destination4WD may collect general, non-personal, statistical information about the use of the Site, such as from what sites visitors are coming when they visit our Site, when they first visited our Site, their IP address, how many visitors visit a specific page on the Site, how long they stay on that page, and which hyperlinks, if any, they “click” on.

Destination4WD may use the IP address to infer information about such visitors, including the company, city, and state. We collect this information through the use of “cookies” and other tracking technologies.

This information is collected to determine which areas of the Site are most popular and to enhance the Site for visitors. Destination4WD may group this information into aggregate visitor data in order to describe the use of the Site to our existing or potential business partners, sponsors, advertisers, or other third-parties, or in response to a government request. However, please be assured that this aggregate data will in no way personally identify you or any other visitors to the Site.

8. You can leave at any time!

If your information changes or you no longer want to hear from us via email, you may correct, update, delete, or deactivate your account through our service provider or by emailing us at [email protected]

9. You may be directed to other sites. 

When you are on the Destination4WD website, you could be directed to other sites via hyperlinks. For example, you may be sent to a third-party website if you click on a hyperlink. These other websites may send their own cookies to visitors, collect data, or solicit Personal Information. The privacy policies of these other sites may be significantly different from this Privacy Policy. Destination4WD is not responsible for the privacy practices of these other sites and cannot guarantee the security of any of your Personal Information collected by them.

10. Don’t steal our info, images or anything else on this Site … we have worked hard to build this business.

Assume everything on this Site is owned by Destination4WD. We have trademarks, patents pending and copyright. You cannot take it, use it, borrow it, change it or do anything else with any piece of content on this Site unless you have gained approval from the owner Rafel Mata by emailing [email protected]

This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This includes the content, images, look, feel, design, colours, logos, layout, appearance, trademarks, and anything else you see on the Site.

You are not permitted to reproduce the documents, information or materials on the website for the purposes of sale or the use by any third-party.

11. We make security a high-level priority.

The security of your Personal Information is important to Destination4WD. We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorised access to or unauthorised alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. This includes internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorised access to systems where personal data is stored. We provide access to personal information to contractors and agents engaged by Destination4WD who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.

12. We have legal rights.

We reserve the right to disclose your Personally Identifiable Information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with judicial proceedings, court orders, or legal processes served upon us.

13. We can make changes to this privacy policy. 

The terms of Destination4WD Privacy Policy may change. Destination4WD will provide notification of any changes to the Privacy Policy by changing the “Last Modified” date at the top of the Policy.  We do encourage you to check this page for any changes. Your continued use of the Site following any changes made to the terms means you understand and accept these changes.

Delivery of goods policy

Physical goods may be delivered by Australia Post and/or other reputable courier companies. Upon receipt of full payment, deliveries are processed promptly. Delivery may take between 2 and 7 days, depending on the delivery option. Destination4WD reserves the discretion to replace damaged or lost items in transit.

Refund Policy

Our refund policy is: No refunds. If a product is damaged on arrival we will replace it. If a product is faulty, we will replace it. If you break the product, we will not replace it unless it is covered under its 12-month manufacturer’s warranty and the product is genuinely broken because of a fault or defect. There are no refunds if you change your mind or damage/alter the product in anyway that it is no longer exactly how you received it from us. This includes drilling, cutting, changing, taking apart, undoing or anything else that alters what you were originally sent), especially while you are installing it.

Dispute resolution

Disputes will be resolved in this manner:

If a dispute arises under this agreement, we agree to first try to resolve it between Destination4WD and the participant in the first instance. If this is unsuccessful, the dispute resolution process will be referred to a mutually agreed-upon mediator in the following location: Cairns, Australia. Any costs and fees other than legal fees associated with the mediation will be the responsibility of each participant.

If it proves impossible to arrive at a mutually satisfactory solution through mediation, we agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration at the following location: Cairns, Australia. Judgment upon the award rendered by the arbitration may be entered in any court in Australia with jurisdiction to do so.
